The new building of Vidhan Bhavan was built in the Nariman Point area, very close to Mantralaya, in 1980-81. Prime Minister of India late Smt. Indira Gandhi inaugurated is designed and constructedby the Government engineers. Although the style and technique used for this building is entirely indigenous, it has certainly a touch of modern architecture.
