Arif Masood's political career in jeopardy!

Congress leader and Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee spokesman Arif Masood was forced to leave Bhopal by the police before court's ruling on Ayodhya dispute.

This is a tough time for Masood. Nine years ago when he was Youth Congress president of Bhopal district, he and his supportes had attacked Lily Talkies where the movie Gadar was being screened.

The violent attack was the first incident that turned his image from an active leader to a mobster. With administration's action of zila-badar for six months, Masood will have to spend the period away from entire Bhopal division.

Cases against him have increased and this will risk his political ambititions. Masud has focused solely on competing with Arif Aqueel, who has been an MLA for four times. Now it seems it will be more difficult for Masood to get back to mainstream politics.
